Severodvinsk local history museum

Severodvinsk local history museum was found in 1970. It is located in the historical building of former maternity hospital. There are 9 exhibition halls in the museum. The restoration of old exhibits is also being done now. The aim of Severodvinsk museum is to show the brand of Severodvinsk. The city is famous as the centre of nuclear shipbuilding. It is also the city of shipwrights and seamen. About 60 thousand people visit the Museum every year. The funds collection has over 58 thousand items. Severodvinsk Museum is a grantee of local, regional and federal funding programs
